Ceramic Tile Art for the da Vinci Auction

Each year-long 3D Art student made a tile. One class chose a “mechanical” theme, and the other class chose a “Portland” theme. They learned how to make their own tile, carve a design, and use iron oxide or underglaze as a wash. The tiles were then glazed with both low & high fire glazes. They were framed by parent volunteer Chandler Vinar. Thanks Chandler! Both tile artworks will be for sale at the auction, at Body Vox, on 4/17. They will also be online soon for bidding to begin!
